This year's military simulation will take us to a set of scenic islands in the Adriatic.
AKS in cooperation with Airsoft Alpha is prepairing a two-day maritime operation spiced with close quarters combat in a complex of underground fortress and buildings.
There will be covert insertion from sea, beach landings, bunker-busting, CQC and much more. Intensive, fast, exhausting, you will be resetting your limits. Use your modern-day weapons but do consider you might at some point dip it in sea-water, so maybe leave your PTW at home. And furthermore, CQC nature of the fighting will limit fps all the way down to 350 fps. Check rules for more info. Uniform split will be easy – desert vs. Green. No matter what pattern or how exotic. For odd patterns use common sense – or Berget© uniform rules :)
SCENARIO / STORY
While soccer war between Salvador and Honduras is long over the struggle continues on Islas de la Bahia, just offshore Honduran coast.
Started more than 40 years ago when group of Salvadorian pirat..err..fishermen settled on remote island of Utila and those hurted Hondurans national pride… Well, today’s fighting is mostly on: “your grandfather killed mine and I’ll kill you,” bases.
With Spooks involved in booth sides and strong support of “Big Neighbor,” Bahia islands soon became testing ground for most modern small arms manufacturers.
Today’s major militia groups are:
-The Utilas Privateers consist mostly of Salvadorian seamen and wanted criminals from all over the Caribbean. Their law is a simple copy/paste from Blackbeard’s handwritings.
-The Guanajas Corsairs are mostly Honduran ex military and Cuban resistance who fled from Fidel’s long hand. They call themselves freedom fighters but they also discovered that piracy brings bigger buck than fishing.
Bahia is of course loaded with Spooks and MARSOC black ops operators, whose main concern is to keep fighting going and keep everything under radar.
September 2011:
In caves on west coast of La Bahia, Guanajas Corsairs are secretly preparing to launch a major maritime operation on Utila. Their goal is to destroy Utilas Privateers for good.
However, in 42 years Utila has become impenetrable fortress and Privateers home base. Their only option is to defend themselves or to die doing it, so bloodbath is the only sure outcome for both sides…
